Strategic Gaming Management, LLC, (SGM) was originally founded in 2009 in Carson City, Nevada, by J. Grant Lincoln. He continues to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. The firm was initially established for the acquisition of Baldini’s Casino in Sparks, Nevada.

And On To An Ever-Expanding Horizon

In 2024, SGM made headlines through a sale-leaseback transaction with Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI). GLPI acquired the real estate assets of SGM's properties for $105 million, entering into long-term lease agreements while SGM continues to operate the casinos. This partnership provided SGM with new capital for growth and capital improvements. The move affirms the company’s reputation as a strong operator and trusted partner in the industry.
