Pat McDermott is the President of the Deadwood Mountain Grand and Silverado-Franklin Hotel and Gaming Complex in Deadwood, South Dakota where he oversees the properties operations and drives overall strategy. Prior to his role as President, McDermott was the Operations Manager of the Silverado-Franklin Hotel and Gaming Complex, a property in which he spent over three decades in various capacities across every department.

Mr. McDermott was born in Deadwood and served in the 25^th Infantry Division in Hawaii prior to attending the University of Wyoming, where he received a bachelor’s degree of the arts. He currently serves as Chairman of Business Improvement District 1-6, Treasurer for BID 7, Vice-Chair for BID 8, and is a member of the Deadwood Chamber of Commerce Board

Mr. McDermott currently lives in Spearfish with his wife Kristal and has two children and five granddaughters.
